Arginine Supplements Are Not For Everybody
Although arginine helps the body produce Nitric Oxide dubbed "The Miracle Molecule" by Science Magazine there are some Arginine Side Effects that need to be heeded.
Because of it's effect on the arteries and blood flow arginine should not be taken by patients that are already taking medicine for hypertension or other cardiovascular illnesses.
Kidney and liver disease patients should also beware because they are already at danger of unbalanced chemical levels in the body and arginine may make this worse.
Pregnant women and mothers who are nursing should not take arginine or nitric oxide supplements.

Ingredients in Proargi9
The ingredients in Proargi9 are composed of important nutrients like citrulline, red wine extract, pomegranate, folic acid, and vitamins B6, B12, K2 and D3 and most importantly pharmaceutical grade l-arginine.
Citulline and L-arginine are both amino acids. Citulline helps the body to overcome fatigue and stress and L-arginine is a precursor for producing Nitric Oxide in the body. Nitric Oxide is a "message sender" gas in the blood that relaxes arteries and smooth muscles which has the effect of lowering blood pressure.Vitamin D3 helps calcium absorption and also helps regulate blood pressure by inhibiting renin. Renin is an enzyme that is secreted by the kidneys and increases the blood pressure. Vitamin D3 also activates VDR, which in turn exerts a positive effect on cardiovascular function.Vitamin B6 aids in the metabolizing of amino acids. B12 plays a key role in the functioning of the brain and nervous system. It is involved in the metabolism of every cell of the human body.Vitamin K2 removes calcium and cholesterol deposits from your arteries. One significant study conducted in the Netherlands in 2004 followed 4800 healthy men and women for ten years. It found vitamin K2 reduced the risk of coronary heart disease mortality by 50%.Folic Acid is used by the body to manufacture red blood cells. A deficiency of this vitamin causes certain types of low red blood cell disease like anemia.Pomegranate and red wine are ingredients in Proargi9 that provide excellent sources of antioxidants. Antioxidants play a major role in neutralizing "free radicals" in the body. These free radicals are organic molecules responsible for aging, tissue damage, and possibly cancers in the body. They are unstable molecules that when in contact with other molecules in the body cause them to become unstable too in effect starting a chain reaction. Antioxidants actually interact with these molecules and stabilize them without becoming unstable themselves.

Watermelon may lower blood pressure
Recent studies at Florida State University showed participants had improved arterial function and lower aortic blood pressure after being given L-citrulline from watermelon extract on a daily basis for six weeks . The study was a pilot only involving a very small group (9). L-citrulline is a precursor to arginine the main ingredient in Proargi9

Nitric Oxide Supplementation
Because Nitric Oxide is produced naturally by the body, most people do not need to take extra supplements. However, during times of unusual stress or injury, the body may not be able to produce the necessary amount of arginine. Deficiency produces symptoms of muscle weakness, similar to muscular dystrophy. Arginine-deficiency impairs insulin production, glucose production, and liver lipid metabolism. Conditional deficiencies of arginine or ornithine are associated with the presence of excessive ammonia in the blood, excessive lysine, rapid growth, pregnancy, trauma, or protein deficiency and malnutrition. Arginine deficiency is also associated with rash, hair loss and hair breakage, poor wound healing, constipation, fatty liver, hepatic cirrhosis, and hepatic coma. http://www.vitamins-supplements.org/amino-acids/arginine.php
